Kaley SapperPresidentKaley is a fourth-year biomedical engineer minoring in equine science. She has campaigned her horse Tuscan Sun through the CIC** (CCI**-SH) level over the past 3 years. The pair has represented Area VI at NAYC (NAJYRC) twice, once at each level, contributing to team gold and bronze medals. She hopes to continue to compete at this level and leave a legacy through Cal Poly Eventing.

Angela CricelliVice PresidentAngela is a fourth-year biomedical engineering student who began eventing in 2010. She has owned her heart horse, Sunsprite's Cali, since 2013. In their time together, Cali and her have ran Novice through Preliminary, and have competed and placed in both the Area VI Novice and Training Championships. Angela is proud to be part of the Sunsprite Warmbloods family, and looks forward to expanding her knowledge and skills through Cal Poly Eventing.

jessie pieraccitreasurerJessie is a fourth-year microbiology student and has grown up riding horses her whole life. She bought her horse Apollo in 2014 as an unbroke 5 year old and has thoroughly enjoyed the journey of training him up the levels. She appreciates a versatile ride and has competed Apollo in the disciplines of tetrathlon, fox hunting, and eventing in both long and short formats. They currently compete at the Preliminary level and are excited to be representing Cal Poly through their favorite sport.

daisy hanrettysocial media chairDaisy is a second year agricultural business major who has been eventing since 2014. She has owned her horse Abe, an OTTB, since 2015 and have competed through training level and third level in dressage. She hopes to continue eventing and move up to prelim during her time at Cal Poly and can’t wait to represent and cheer on Cal Poly Eventing.

Zoey GreenwoodMemberZoey is a third year Business Administration major who plans to concentrate in Accounting. She has been eventing since 8th grade. Her first pony took her up to novice level and she has now owned her 8 year old Irish Sport Horse, Premier, for three years. Before her purchase, Premier had only shown once and now Zoey has successfully brought him up through the levels. They just completed their first Preliminary this past November and plan to keep seeing how far they can go.

kayla reimanmemberKayla Reiman is a third year Agriculture and Environmental Plant science major who has been riding since age 6. She and her OTTB gelding, Tori have competed through preliminary and have enjoyed the adjustment to San Luis living. They hope to continue growing and learning through Cal Poly Eventing and are proud to be representing this great school!

Cassidy scantenamemberCassidy Scatena is a fourth-year Animal Science Major with strong aspirations of becoming a large animal veterinarian. She grew up riding her entire life and trained her horse Lego who she has now owned for 6 years. She has competed up to the Novice level and is thrilled for what their future together holds at Cal Poly.

Katie karpenkomemberKatie is a fourth year Plant Science Major who has evented up to training level. She evented on her, now retired, horse Josh. Now she primarily does dressage with her OTTB Rio. She also started Rio off the track herself. Katie is lucky enough to have both horses with her in SLO.

Maggie rothmemberMaggie is a first year Animal Science major. She has been riding since she was 5 and Eventing the past 7 years. She has had her horse Pacific Passage aka Mojo, a thoroughbred, for two years now and plans to move up to prelim this season and up the levels from there. She has had here other horse Wish Upon A Star aka Starlight, a Mustang, for ten years and trained her since she was 18 months old from the wild and has now taken her novice the past few years.

MIa chesterMemberMia is a second year Animal Science major on the Pre-Vet track. She has been riding horses since she was 8, and has done dressage, show jumping, and some western. Her horse Luna is the light of her life, and she plans to compete with her more as a member of Cal Poly Eventing.

Elizabeth MeenhanmemberElizabeth is a third year Animal Science Pre-Vet major at Cal Poly. She has been competitively eventing since 2016 with her twin sister, Emma Meehan. Since receiving Marco Q (2011 ISH) in 2017, they have successfully competed up to the CCI** L level at Rebecca Farm in 2019. Elizabeth and Marco are very serious about their future goals and plan to make their way up the remaining levels during Elizabeth’s time at Cal Poly.

emma meehanmemberEmma is a third year Pre-Vet Animal Science major at Cal Poly. She has been competitively eventing since 2015, and owned her current horse, Millridge Socrates (2010 ISH), since 2017 and competes at the Preliminary Level with him. She and “Socs” plan on competing at the CCI** level soon and moving up from there.

Faith coopermemberFaith Cooper is a second year Animal Science Major. She has been riding since before she could walk and has owned her horse Rebel for 4 years who she has trained herself, starting in jumpers and recently took up eventing in 2018 competing in Novice level. She hopes to continue and move up through the levels in her time here with Cal Poly Eventing. She’s so excited for the what the future holds with the team.

Audrey SanbornmemberAudrey is a second year Communications Major. She has been riding since she was 3 and has been Eventing for the past 9 years. She has had her horse OBOS Quality Time aka Diesel, an Irish Sport horse, for almost a year. They currently compete at the intermediate level and plan to move up to the CCI*** level this spring. Audrey hopes to continue to move up the levels and compete for the Cal Poly Eventing Team while in college.

maya pessinmember Maya is a second year Animal Science Major on the Pre-Vet track. She has been riding since she was 4 and has been Eventing for the past 5 years. She and her horse Red compete at the training level and plan to continue competing for Cal Poly Eventing Team while in college.
